We’re under development, and we need your help. Watch this space for gaming aimed at raising development funding. Queers.com is an exciting new gay-centric resource center for LGBT people of all ages. Our intent is to share what we have with each other to make our community better and stronger for us all. Throughout history, immigrant communities have banded together to help their own without interference from the greater population of their newfound land. We in the Queer world have been marginalized, outcast and branded as inferior by those who would control, belittle and even destroy us. Yet, we’ve always been expected to go along to get along so as not to draw attention to ourselves, lending our talents and resources to those who would do us ill. Recent developments worldwide make it both an exciting time and a supremely challenging time. Why not turn our resources back to ourselves to optimize our good fortunes and shared interests? We welcome all alternative state-of-being and non-heterosexist/conformist people to join us in becoming a better, healthier society.   Queers.com, with your help, will include Job bank: gay and gay friendly businesses offering honest pay for an honest day’s work Skills Registry: Skilled professionals, artists, artisans, performers, creative souls all need a place to advertise their talents and wares. Gay artists music label: all genres, all brilliant, benefitting the artists and not some mega label.  Scholarship competitions: Film, video, Prose, Poetry Newsworthy Original Editorial and Opinion Gay News aggregate, enlisting the inclusion of all the Major and Minor LGBTIC Organizations worldwide. Calls to action, social demonstration, Our Voices Organized and Sounded Together Blogs, Vlogs, video Travel: cheap fares, group excursions, one-off vacations, follow your favorite band’s tour. Gaming Every individual or business involved with Queers.com must qualify as either LGBT owned or LGBT friendly to the effect of suporting LGBT employees and clients in civil rights equality as well as social benefits equality. We must not disqualify others from using and supporting us for any among the universally accepted 'suspect groups' designated for civil protection. Neither can we stand for any manner of abuse, dysfunction, descrimination or collusion by others against our own community. A portion of any profits made from these enterprises will go to finance LGBTIC organizations and actions worldwide. These are some of the ideas, but we need your help to get started. Everybody contributing will receive life long premiums as a ground floor supporter, the level of which will depend on the contribution’s size.
